Wills and Probate

Our dedicated team of specialists can help you prepare a will to ensure your wishes are carried out after your death.  Everyone, with or without children, should make a will so that their money and possessions are left to the people they choose, and to avoid leaving an expensive legal and financial muddle behind.  A properly drawn will can also be a useful way of planning ahead for inheritance tax.

In the event of a death in the family, we can help the executors or trustees administer the estate, dealing with the Probate Registry and sorting out any inheritance or other tax issues.

No matter how large or small the estate, we are able to offer practical and professional advice on a subject which can otherwise be difficult for people to handle.

Contested Wills

Contesting a will is not something to be undertaken lightly, but it can be done in certain circumstances – for example, where property is disposed of in an unusual and unfair way, or if there is a question over the testator’s mental condition when the will was made.  We can offer advice on these issues and may also be able to help you if a will of which you are a beneficiary is challenged by someone else.
